Mokrowsovsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum

The Mokrowsovsky Museum is not just a place where a piece of the history of the Mokrowsovsky district is stored, but a cultural center that conducts great educational and educational work. Its collections are the pride of the region.

The Mokrows Museum is more than 40 years old and has a long tradition. Located in an ancient merchant mansion, it is a unique place, an architectural monument of regional significance, where everyone can touch history, traditions, become more aware of their roots, it is a place for intellectual leisure.

The museum has 13 exhibition halls: nature, 50-70-ies, the Great Patriotic War, Victory, tea, trade shop, crafts room and others. The funds are combined into 12 collections and have 9,499 items of storage, of which the main fund is 5,946. In the yard of the museum there is a memorial complex dedicated to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers, with the Eternal Flame, stands of the Immortal Regiment are placed.
