The museum tells about the events of the 20s related to the Mongolian revolution. It was founded in 1958 in a modest wooden house owned by the worker Lubsan Tsyrenov. In November 1920, Sukhe-Batar stayed in this house for secret residence and leadership of the revolutionary struggle. The museum recreates the authentic atmosphere of that time, typical for Buryat families living in the Russian city: a goddess with Buddhist utensils and furniture made by Russian Siberians. |
