Lake Kak-Hol

Another beautiful lake can be visited in the Republic of Tuva. This lake Kak-Khol, it is located 45 kilometers from the capital of the republic city of Kyzyl. The lake is very salty, its salinity is 220 percent. In length, Lake Kak-Khal stretches for 2 kilometers, 1 kilometer wide. Not far from it lies the famous lake Dus-Khol (Svatikovo).

As-Khol, like many other Tuvan lakes, are located in the Tuvan basin. The area around the lake is not attractive. In some places, the lake became shallow, and on the shore a circle of white salt. The lake is fed by a small stream and springs. The source is also thought to be salty.

The lake is very small, so it is not particularly suitable for swimming. But it found useful dirt, which in its elements is not inferior to the dirt of the famous Crimean resort of Saki.
