Hamsar River
Description:
The Hamsara River is a river in the east of Tuva, which is the right tributary of the Big Yenisei. It flows from the lake Ustu-Deerlig-Hol and flows mainly through the Todzhin basin. The length of the river is 325 kilometers.
Hamsara is also one of the cleanest rivers on earth. Its source is lost in the glaciers of the Sayan Mountains. This river is still inhabited by nalimas, shigas, perches, pikes, spruces, flanks, gariuses and taimenis.
All rafting areas of the Hamsara River are quite calm, in places there are rolls, shivers, where many fish are fed. The merger with the Big Yenisei may seem that Hamsara is even wider and fuller than its older brother.
