The museum was established in 1974 as a school historical-memorial museum by teachers and students of school N2 Saryg-Sep. Kaa-Khemsky kojun is the birthplace of the Hero of Socialist Labor, Knight of the 7 Orders of Lenin, People's Writer of Tuva, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the TNRP (1933-1944), 1 Secretary of the OK CPSU (1944-1973) Salchak Kalbakhorekovich Tok. The museum has collected a large collection - these are exhibits related to the history, nature, ethnography of the kojun and especially with the life and life of Russian Old Believers. |
