Labin Museum of History and Local History

The museum opened in 1991. The initiator of its creation and the first director was Moiseenko Fedor Ivanovich, whose name the museum was named. Over the years, the Labinsky Museum has collected in its collections an interesting paleontological collection from the foothills and mountainous parts of the Labinsky and Mostovsky districts. The acheological section includes Stone Age tools, Bronze Age, antique items and medieval nomad culture.

The lively interest of visitors is the exposition dedicated to the fauna of the Caucasus. The central exhibition place is occupied by halls covering the history of the city of Labinsk and the culture of the Cossacks. Expositions dedicated to the Civil and Great Patriotic Wars are presented with unique documents, weapons and objects of that time. The museum holds classes for students of technical school and schools on the history of Kuban.
