About the company:

In the early 1960s, the country learned about the discovery of the largest oil and gas fields in the Tyumen North. Such names as Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Urengoy thundered throughout the country.

Until the late 1970s, the corner of the taiga, where the Langepas duct carried its waters, remained unknown. Only small groups of prospectors continued to systematically search for “big oil”, carrying out the “Deep Search and Exploration Drilling Project at Urievskaya and Streaming Sites”.

In 1978, the development of the Uryevskoye oil field began. Fishers and their numerous subcontractors were based in Nizhnevartovsk. They had to fly helicopters to the Uryevskoye, Potoknoye, Lasyeganskoye fields. It was already obvious to everyone that a base city should be built in the center of a new group of fields.

March 20, 1980 – the resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR “On urgent measures to strengthen construction in the area of the West Siberian oil and gas complex” was issued. This resolution of the Belarusian SSR entrusted the construction of a village for oil workers in the Nizhnevartovsky district of the Tyumen region.

July 1, 1980 - construction trust site No. 37 was established in Minsk, which is relocated to Langepas. On August 16, the first group of builders from Belarus arrived in Nizhnevartovsk, which at that time was the base point.

In September 1980, the first Belorussian landing landed on the Uryevsky route. In the same places, there was already a small village SU-54, SU-48, in which the builders of the main oil pipeline Nizhnevartovsk – Ust-Balik lived.

September 20, 1980 – construction of the village of Langepas began. The pioneers began the construction of a production base, lagoon roads, housing.

On September 1, 1981, the first school in a temporary wooden building opened. 242 students sat at the desks, 49 of whom were first-graders. The teachers, 13 of them, came from Belarus.

The village grew and developed. In 1985, Langepas was granted city status.

With the status of the city, Langepas began to develop even faster. There were new houses, schools, shops. Children were born – the future of Langepas. Now, looking at the modern city, we see that all conditions are being created for them, our children: a new kindergarten is opening, music and art schools, sports complexes, courtyard clubs are operating.

Our city is proud not only of achievements in the field of improvement, but also of sports success. Physical culture and sports first appeared in the city of Langepas even before the formation of the city, builders and oil workers competed on independently built grounds in volleyball and football. Now the city is developing 22 sports, regularly engaged in sports squares more than two thousand people. The achievements of our athletes can be seen not only at the regional but also at the global level.
