48 Palace Avenue, St. Petersburg, Lomonosov, St. Petersburg, 198412

Description:

The Upper Oranienbaum Park covers more than 60 hectares of land on both sides of the Grand Palace. Petrovsky Park and Own Dacha - it all refers to the Upper Park of Oranienbaum. This place looks like in the middle of the XIX century. From the late 1770s to the turn of the XIX century, many redevelopments and construction works were carried out on the territory of the park, which gave it a landscape appearance. You can visit the Upper Park at any time, it is beautiful all year round. With its variety of shades, architectural delights and design of alleys, the Upper Park attracts tourists and people with subtle spiritual matter. Thirty bridges are represented in this garden and park ensemble, of which twenty wooden and eight stone.

On the territory of the Upper Park you can visit the Museum "Stone Hall" with a cinema, the Concert Hall near the U-shaped pond and topped with a dome. We recommend visiting Chinese cuisine and Pergola (a gazebo entwined with greenery) in front of the Chinese Palace. Notice the sculptures near the palaces of Peter III, about thirty statues and busts, as well as vases and other sculptural compositions, including marble benches and armchairs from the nineteenth century.
