Walking tour of the Sulak Canyon

The tour will take place in the picturesque places of the Sulak Canyon with a survey and photography of the canyon itself and the surrounding area, along the way I will tell the story of the Chirkey Reservoir, the construction of the Chirkey and Miatlin hydroelectric power stations on the Sulak River, the dams of which we will see during the excursion.

Part of the tour will take place by car, it is from the gathering place of tourists to the observation deck of the Sulak canyon. But the most interesting is the walking part of the tour with a descent along the picturesque path to the canyon itself with a rest at the spring, then we go down to the waters of the Sulak River, who wish to swim in cold turquoise water. We will take a walk through the old Zubutli, see the mosque, the ancient Jewish cemetery memorial to those who died in the Second World War.

Those who wish can ride a boat along the canyon and taste freshly prepared trout, (lunch is included in the price), then back, also on foot, tired and with a lot of impressions to the observation deck and departure to the place of settlement.

The tour is designed for tourists from 16 to 60 years and more. I try not to take children for the sake of their safety, the mountains after all. Comfortable transport, Hyundai Creta, new, jeep, driver - guide, included lunch on the route, take from two to four tourists.
