Mountain Trident
Description:
Mount Trident is a mountain located at the western edge of the Doo Doo Gush ridge, is considered one of the most unusual mountains of Adygea. The rock ridge rises above the bed of the White River. Among its many peaks, rocked into the sky by pointed peaks, three majestic rocks stand out - the Trident. Witty Adyghe people call this mountain also "Mother-in-law's teeth".
Panoramas opening from the tops of the Trident are truly fabulous. In the north, against the background of the huge ridges of Azish-Tau and Una-Koz, toy villages are buried in greenery, in the south you can see the snow-white peaks of the Caucasian mountains, surrounded by a dark green ring of fir forests. No wonder about this place is a legend, according to which the god of the seas Neptune, rising here from the water depths and looking around, said that there is no place on earth more beautiful. As a sign of this, he stuck his trident into the ground, which became a mountain range.
The White River flows through a rift in the ridge called the Great Granite Canyon. The place is very popular with lovers of water tourism and climbing. There are tourist routes to the mountain itself.
