Description:

Thirty kilometers from Maikop near the village of Goncharka, Giaginsky district of the Republic of Adygea on an area of one hundred and fifty hectares stretches dendrological Park named after Bukreev. It is named after the local chairman of the state farm Petr Vasilyevich Bukreev, whose efforts in 1970 laid the foundation for the park. The first were planted seedlings of local tree species - birches, firs, pines. Later, with the assistance of the Sochi arboretum, trees began to be planted here from the Black Sea coast, and then from all over the world. In total, more than three hundred and fifty species of trees grow in the park.

The park is divided into three zones - Birch, Far and Central. The most popular is the Central Zone, which is a real landscape park. On twenty hectares around the picturesque artificial pond grows most of the species represented in the park. Here is a unique museum of stones - a collection of huge, unusual in shape blocks of sandstone. Excursions are held for everyone in the Central zone of the dendrological park.
