Rock Sail
Russia, Republic of Adygea, Maikop district, Kamennomostsky settlement
Description:
Tourists who came to the Rufabgo stream, in addition to the famous waterfalls, can look at the unusual rock Sail. You can see the rock by walking along the trail behind the Lace Falls, not reaching two hundred meters to the waterfall of the Cup of Love. Here, at the confluence of the Rufabgo and Bachurin streams, stands a majestic hundred-meter rock with a flat, forested top.
At its foot piled a lot of rock debris of the most bizarre shapes and different sizes. One of them is called the Sail. This huge flat triangular stone with the upper end rests against the wall of the gorge, forming a kind of arch through which the trail passes. Rock Sail, thickly entwined with ivy, is very picturesque.
