Titanic Rock
Russia, Republic of Adygea, Maikop district, Kamennomostsky settlement
Description:
To the north of the village of Kamennomostsky in the Maikop district of Adygea on a steep bend of the White River is a picturesque sandy beach. Its main attraction is the rock, which the locals call the Titanic. Organized groups of tourists do not take here, and although this beach is loved by locals, here you can almost always be alone with beautiful nature.
With a wide sandbank offers an amazing view of the high cliff of the left bank, overgrown with a dense pine forest. Against the background of rocks from the water rises a three-meter rock fragment that fell here in time immemorial. The shape of this stone is remarkably similar to the half of a sinking ocean liner, as we see it in the famous film of the same name.
On hot summer days, the beach becomes a favorite place to swim. At such times, there are always many people who want to sunbathe on the "deck" of the Titanic.
