About the company:

The local history museum is located in the historical center of the small town of Mendeleevsk, which is cozy located on the banks of the Kama and Toima rivers. It includes two unequal in size land plots of historical, cultural and natural territory "Imenie Ushkov", four monuments of architecture and urban planning. In one of the buildings-monuments currently housed exposition and exhibition halls, a storage facility. The rest are in the stage of design and restoration work.

The office of the partnership "P.K. Ushkov and K" until 1992 performed its main functions. From here, the Bondyuzha and Kokshan chemical plants were managed. The main office was the center of socio-economic decision-making in the northeast, first in the Yelabuga district of the Vyatka province, then in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The building in the classical style was built in 1870, the second floor is superbuilt already at the beginning of the XX century. A watchtower in the style of "Romanesque donjon" is attached to the office, in the most elegant room of the second floor there is a fireplace. The graphics of cast-iron balusters of the staircase march and elegant tiles on the floor convey the exquisite taste of merchants-breeders of earplugs. Nearby the brilliance of the river surface, the picture of the landscape and the aroma of the urban environment.
