Musa Jalil Memorial Museum

M.Jalil - Hero of the Soviet Union, laureate of the Lenin Prize, in 1941 he studied at military-political courses in the building of the Menzelin School. He fought in the Second Shock Army of the Volkhov Front. In the Valley of Death, being seriously wounded, he was captured. He continued the fight against fascism in captivity, was executed with 11 comrades in the struggle. The main profile of the museum’s exposition is the Menzelin period of M.Jalil’s life and work. There are real objects that Jalil touched. The layout of the audience No1, where the cadet Jalil lived, the bed, the form of the senior political instructor, photographs, memories of relatives, contemporaries of the poet, authentic letters of the poet. The funds store oil paintings by artists Khabibullin, Biktashev, Karetnikov’s graphics, sculptural portraits of the poet.
