The memorial complex includes a house, an artist’s workshop, outbuildings, which gives a complete picture of the merchant’s estate of the late XIX century. In the house, the atmosphere in which Gerasimov and his family lived was transferred, memorial items and furniture were preserved. Of great interest to visitors is the collection of paintings by the artist created by Gerasimov before the revolution. In 1981, on the 100th anniversary of the birth of A.M. Gerasimov, an exhibition hall was built, where the largest collection of works of the artist in our country is exhibited. |
The house and a tall brick fence with gates, framed by two columns (1886), are of architectural value. The main buildings have been preserved in their original form: a house, a workshop, a carriage shed - monuments of history of federal significance. |
