The city of Mineralnye Vody - s. Upper Baksan - Adyr-su gorge - alplager "Ullu-Tau".
Transfer by minibus to the village of Upper Baksan (2.5-3 hours).
Here the usual road ends and rests on the mountain lift. This is a unique structure where the car is put on a special platform, which with the help of a cable on the rails rises to a height.
In this place, the instructor with tourists walk up the stairs to the entrance to the Adyr-Su gorge, the elevation difference is 50-60 m (5 minutes walk). We bring personal items and products with us! If the mountain lift works, then we lift things on the lift :)
In the Adyr-Su gorge, we change the usual minibus to mountain transport! There are only 12 kilometers left on the mountain road and we are already in the heart of the mountains.
It is here, at an altitude of 2380 m, that one of the highest alpine campsites in the North Caucasus - Ullu-Tau - is located. We will live in this place for the next four days. The transition from transport to alpine takes 5 minutes.
Transfers and border formalities take a lot of time, we will be there by the evening. Today we will have time to walk around the alpine territory, near the river Adyr-Su and at the end of the day we will admire the mountain Ullu-Tau in the sunset rays!

Day 2
Adyr-su gorge, Silver Spring, Jaylyk alplagher, Koyavgan River gorge.
In the morning we go for a walk through the incredibly beautiful surroundings! Coniferous forests, snowy peaks of mountains, noisy river - this is all our favorite gorge Adyr-Su. Gradually get used to this beauty!
Today is an easy, walking day =). First we will visit the spring with silver water. It's not even a spring, it's a river! Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo))), but so transparent!
In this place, some of our tourists always bathe, others lie down on the ground, take the form of a starfish and with a peaceful view admire the clouds =). And some tourists immediately rush to the nearest hill, to look at the opening view.
After an hour, we take some tourists off the hill, catch others from the source, take all our starfish with us and move on!
Comfortable mountain road leads us to the former alplager "Jaylyk". Here we ride on a mountain swing, and then climb to an excellent observation deck. From here, the snowy four-thousander Ullu-Tau will be in front of us as in the palm of your hand!
Keep moving! We look into the gorge of the Koyavgan River and admire a small waterfall. On a good path, we will climb a little higher, from where there is a great view of the Kullumkol gorge. In this gorge is the Living Lake, which we will visit in a few days.
Active part of the route: 12.3 km, height difference 2380-2510 m, route duration 6 hours.

Day 3
Trekking to the foot of Ullu Tau Mountain, Gumachi Falls.
The Adyr-Su gorge from the first steps meets tourists with alpine meadows and snowy mountains. This is an amazing, picturesque corner of the Caucasus, surrounded by sky-high peaks Chotchat, Twin, Triangle.
And in the very center of the gorge rises the mistress of these places - Mount Ullu-Tau. 4207 meters of rock, snow and ice! It would seem that sharp rocks, rocks and ice can never give softness to forms. But it's not about Ullu-Tau! Nature has made this mountain so semicircular, soft, friendly and kind. At its foot, mountaineers bloom, forget-me-nots and a purple carpet stretches geranium.
A well-trodden hiking trail leads to the foot of Ullu Tau and the “Wishing Fields”. Dozens of stone pyramids have already been built here. Choose your favorite stone, make a wish and carefully place the stone in one of the pyramids. By the way, if we want, we can build our own personal pyramid. Most importantly, before walking here, you must believe that your cherished desire will be fulfilled by the wonderful Mother Mountain.
Today we will meet the “male” and “female” stones, the stone of health. Therefore, enjoy the beauty, believe in miracles and recharge with positive energy!
On the way back, we will cross the bridge of the river Adyr-Su and come closer to the Gumachi mountain range. Here we are waiting for a glacier and a large waterfall Gumachi!
The active part of the route: 9.6 km, the height difference of 2380-2680 m, the duration of the route is 5-6 hours.

Day 6
Waterfall "Maiden Spits", Observatory "Terskol Peak".
This waterfall is not for nothing called “Maiden Spits”. It seems as if a proud mountaineer sat down on the slope of Elbrus, turned away from us, and long, loose hair streams along her shoulders. This is how the water from the glaciers of Elbrus slowly flows down the basalt rocks.
The waterfall is on the southern slope of Terskol Peak. It is born from the glacier Gara Basha and appears before tourists in all its glory. The waterfall is 30 meters high! The daredevils can even enter the waterfall. Yeah, it'll be wet, it'll be fresh! What pictures do you get here!
After the photo shoot, we go to the observation deck near the waterfall. Do not believe it, but it is so nice to sit here, eat chocolates and admire the grandiose panorama of the Main Caucasus Ridge.
Come higher! A comfortable road will lead us to the Turskol Peak Observatory. This place will give us stunning views of the Baksan valley, Terskol gorge and the top of Elbrus.
