Church of Eudokia the Monk Martyr in Sizoi

A stone church lined with marble. A tall pillar-shaped building on a stylobate, completed with an octagonal drum with a dome.

The church began to be built in 1995 as a chapel, at the expense of a native of Siza Ivan Yarygin, an outstanding athlete, two-time Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling, who died in a car accident in 1997. Subsequently, the project was changed, and instead of the chapel built a one-chaired temple. It was completed by his brother of an athlete. The church was consecrated in memory of the mother of the brothers Evdokia Pavlovna Yarygina.
