The Moscow metro station "Theatrical" is located in the Tver district, under the Theater Square. The station is an object of cultural heritage.
The station is a pylon station of deep laying (35 meters) with three vaults. The station includes three parallel tunnels, the cross-section of which is 9.5 meters. The width of one platform is 22.5 meters, the length is 155 meters, the height of the vault is 5.3 meters.
In its design, the station resembles a theater hall, the columns are the scenes, the space between them is a curtain. The vault of the central hall is decorated with figures about a meter high, depicting women and men in national costumes who play musical instruments. A total of 7 peoples are represented. Sculptures alternate with fruit wreaths. The whole station is decorated in white flowers. On the vaults hang crystal lamps in bronze frame.
From two lobbies you can go to Nikolskaya Street, Manege Square, Theatre Passage and Hunting Row.
