About the company:

The Moscow State Estrada Theatre was opened in June 1954 by a group of leading artists of the Moscow stage, headed by N.P. Smirnovy-Sokolsky - People's Artist of the RSFSR. In the winter of 1961, he cut the red ribbon for the second time, when the theater moved to a new place near Bersenevskaya embankment, where he works to this day. The Estrada Theatre is constantly in creative search, new concerts and performances, anniversary programs and creative evenings of artists of various genres began to appear on its stage more and more often.

The theater has been engaged in charitable activities for many years - it organizes festive evenings and concerts for participants and eyewitnesses of the Great Patriotic War, pensioners and disabled people, as well as pupils of orphanages and boarding schools. He met his 50th anniversary season in a beautiful renovated interior - the wardrobe and foyer were converted, a small theater cafe was created and the seats in the auditorium were replaced (for the first time in 20 years). Today, the theater can be proud of modern lighting equipment, video system and sound.
