About the company:

The Moscow Regional State Chamber Theatre was established by the order of the People’s Commissariat of Education of March 15, 1934 for No. 219 “On the deployment of a network of collective-farm state theaters” in 1934, as the First Moscow Regional Drama Theatre. In 1992, in connection with the reorganization of the theater network of the Moscow region, the order of the Committee on Culture of the Executive Committee of the Moscow Regional Council of People's Deputies dated September 1, 1992 No. 242 established the Moscow Regional State (dramatic) Chamber Theater on the basis of the First Moscow Regional Drama Theater. The Chamber Theatre is a multiple laureate and diploma winner of international and Russian theater festivals. In 2002, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the play "La Cabale" ("Cabal Svyatosh"), the theater took part in an international action, inviting French actress Catherine Fanto-Gourne (Paris) to play Madeleine Bejard. The repertoire of the theater includes the best examples of modern Russian and foreign classics, taking into account the taste and artistic preferences of the audience. The theater has an extensive children's repertoire.
