Moscow Theatre of Illusion

The Moscow State Theatre of Illusion was established in 1989. The creator of the Moscow Illusion Theater is Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of international competitions Lyashenko Anatoly Nikolaevich. The creation of the Theatre of Illusion – a theater based on a trick, not as an end in itself, but as a means of expressing the artistic vision of the play – has been his dream for many years. Fortunately, that dream has come true. Largely thanks to the assistance of famous figures of our culture: Mahmud Esambayev, Emil Kio, Joseph Kobzon, Teresa Durova, Yuri Nikulin, etc. Over the years, the theater has managed to justify their trust, winning recognition not only in our country, but also abroad. The theater toured in China, Japan, Czech Republic, France, Poland, Pakistan, Germany, Bulgaria, Morocco. Over the years of the theater’s existence, the following performances were created: “From Mouse to Bear”, “Amusement Parade”, “Miracles, Miracles in Our House”, “I Can Deceive You”, “Fire, Water and Fantasy”, “Bells of Love”, “Sleight of Hands and ...”, “Rest with Us”, “You Have Wizards Visiting”, “Moscow Show of Beasts”, “Fantasy” and others. The troupe of the theater consists of professional actors of the illusion genre.
