“Art of the XX century” or Travel in time: CHA on the Crimean Wall
Description:
The exposition of the Central House of Artists on the Crimean Val is not just a collection of the most important works for the history of art; it is also the embodiment of the living movement of history, a kind of time machine. Through the exhibition “Art of the twentieth century” we can travel through time: from Natalia Goncharova to Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin; from the “Working Club” to the installation dedicated to the late 1980s.
Waiting for you:
- walk through the labyrinths of the avant-garde
Immersion in the “culture of palaces”, or familiarity with the official art of the Stalin period
- the charms of the "severe style" of art of the Khrushchev thaw
Opening of “Apartment Art” – works that were previously exhibited only at apartment exhibitions
The gallery regularly hosts seasonal exhibitions. Their visit is also possible during the tour.
