Alabushevskaya street

Russia, Moscow

Description:

Alabushevskaya street takes its name from the former village of Alabushevo on this land. This village in 1937, which became a dacha village, fifty years later was partially incorporated into Zelenograd.

There are many versions of the name of the village itself. Some believe that the name was assigned to Alabysh-li-khan, buried in those places, who was killed on Sich, while others talk about the Tatar settlement from the Alexandria Monastery, thanks to which the name of the Muslim "Allah" - God, and "Bush" - save. But the professor of the Institute of Culture Ilyin G.V., considers the origin of the name of Fedor Olabysh Yaroslavsky, who "was the first owner of the villager on the left bank of the Vskhodnya river."

Like many villages, the village of Alabushevo was for some time the possession of the monastery (Troitsk-Sergievsky), and later went to the treasury. Accordingly, the inhabitants were first princely peasants, then monastic, and after the abolition of serfdom became artisans.

Women were engaged in knitting, men became carpenters, a three-year school was built for children. And now this street with a developed infrastructure, which partially runs through the industrial zone, partially circles the territory of the Silino forest park.
