Large stone greenhouse of the estate "Kuskovo"
Description:
By 1763, the Great Stone Greenhouse was built according to the project of the serf architect Fyodor Argunov - the largest pavilion of the palace and park ensemble of the estate.
In addition to its direct functional purpose, it was also used for receiving guests: along with glazed galleries for plant exotics, a “voxal” was arranged in the center of the Great Stone greenhouse - a small round hall for dancing with choirs for musicians. In the side risalites there were rooms for games and a gardener's shelter.
Today in the halls of the greenhouse expositions of the State Museum of Ceramics are deployed.
