Adam and Eve Fountain

Pyatnitskaya street, 23, metro station Novokuznetskaya

Description:

The Adam and Eve fountain was opened in honor of the 860th anniversary of Moscow near the Novokuznetskaya metro station.

The sculptural composition was designed by a group of architects led by Viktor Simonikhin. The sculptor is Marina Levinskaya.

The fountain is a large bowl made of granite. At its center are Adam and Eve, who sit on a snake. Eva is holding an apple. Next to them is an openwork tree, on which birds and insects sit, covered with gold leaf. The water cascades down into the bowl and to the sides. In the evening, the stream of water is decorated with multi-colored illumination.

There is a flower bed around the fountain.
