Fountain "Music of Glory" in Kuzminki
Description:
The impressive fountain complex "Music of Glory" was officially opened for the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 7, 2005. In the central part of the octagonal bowl there is a “Wreath of Victory”, made of pink granite. The building is divided into two parts: dark and light. On the black is the “Pyramid of Memory”, the four faces of which symbolize the duration of the fatal period. It is washed by water, which symbolizes the sorrow and tears of people for those who died in battle. The bright half is represented by the "Fanfars of Victory", majestically rushing into the sky and personifying the triumph of the victory of the Soviet people over the enemy.
The symbol of victory is located on Volgograd Avenue. You can reach it on foot from Kuzminki metro station.
