The Joy of Victory on the Mountain

Russia, Moscow, Victory Square, 3B

Description:

The joy of Victory is three Moscow fountains on Poklonnaya Hill, made in the form of characteristic bowls, going in a semicircle. For this reason, they are called segmental, as they clearly divide the semicircle into segments with geometric precision.

In the bowls are installed transparent jet nozzles in the form of frames.

For the winter, the fountains are turned off, and only in mid-April do trial launches begin. And on April 30, the mayor of Moscow usually solemnly opens the summer season of fountains and the complex "Joy of Victory" appears before the audience in all its splendor.

This fountain is located on the territory of the Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill between the temple of St. George the Victorious and the Victory Museum.
