The Dutch house of the estate "Kuskovo"

ooh Youth, 2, p. 12, Moscow

Description:

The Dutch House is a two-storey garden pavilion located on the shore of the pond with a kitchen on the first floor and a living room on the second. According to the date indicated on the facade, the construction of the house began in 1749. The building was built in the laconic style of Dutch buildings of the XVII century, in the same style, interior decoration with ceramic tiles was made. Despite the fact that the house is an imitation of a Dutch dwelling, it was used by the owners for its intended purpose. The gazebos and garden with a garden located around the pavilion were designed to create the illusion of a street located on the banks of the canal.
