Temple of the Trinity of life-giving on the Sparrow Mountains

The Church of the Trinity on the Sparrow Hills is an Orthodox church built in the style of classicism in the 19th century, mentioned in history since 1644. The temple is clearly visible from the observation deck of MSU.

It is a single-domed quadrangular temple with portals that are decorated with columns. Its rotunda is topped by a round-headed drum, and a two-tiered bell tower is the entrance to the temple. There is also an old fence with an arched entrance.

In the church you can see the icon of the Mother of God - "The Holy Sky" and such ancient icons as the venerated list from the miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Donskaya" and St. Nicholas with life, the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the Lord Almighty with the stigmas of the Crucifixion and Resurrection and others. In the temple there is an ark with particles of the relics of St. Metrophanes of Voronezh, righteous Alexis and the blessed Matrona of Moscow.
