Alexander Garden in the city of Moscow
Description:
At the walls of the Kremlin, at the very place where the underground Neglinnaya River used to flow, in the 20s of the XVIII century, the Alexander Garden was laid out. Today, the main attraction of the park is the eternal flame.
Alexander Garden can be divided into three parts. The Ruins Grotto, built in memory of the Patriotic War of 1812, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are located in the Upper Garden. The cash registers of the Kremlin museums are located in the Middle Garden, the Lower Garden is closed to visitors.
The arena - another attraction of the garden - was erected on the 5th anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War. There were reviews of troops and exhibitions.
