Square "Zodiac Signs" in Moscow

In Sviblovo relatively recently opened a very unusual square - Zodiac signs. A few years ago, everything was launched here. But in 2007, the square was landscaped, and unusual statues of the Signs of the Zodiac by sculptor Andrei Aseryanets were installed.

In the center of the sculptural composition is a telescope made of screws of spoons and other iron. Twelve tracks depart from the telescope in different directions, at the ends of which sculptures of zodiac signs are installed.

The sculptures are not trivial, you can even call them hooligan. A mischievous archer is aiming at a lantern, a Capricorn is a real biker, fish eat in the company of lace beer, a maiden-funny girl with pigtails, very reminiscent of Peppy-long stocking. The main feature of the master is that the sculptures are made of scrap metal, which is found in Moscow landfills. This is modern art, this is an original way of recycling waste.
