Baboshkino Lake is located in a forest located in the Moscow region. By origin belongs to the group of glacial lakes. It is part of the Lake Forest Park. In different years and periods, this lake bore completely different names: Basoshino (1752), Baboshino (1842), Bubushkino (1962). Currently, there is a very extensive sphagne swamp around the lake. Due to significant swampiness, the depth of the lake near the shore is immediately about 1.5 meters. On the south side, a pier is built and beaches with sandy and grassy coatings are located. There are medical and rescue posts on the shore.
