Monument to the Tragedy of Peoples on the Poklonnaya Mountain
Description:
In the capital of our country on Poklonnaya Hill there is a place dedicated to all those who suffered at the hands of fascism during the Second World War. The architect is Zurab Tsereteli, who erected this monument in 1997 using bronze and granite materials to make it. Visually, the memorial site may not appeal to visitors, however, it shows all the fear and horror of wartime. The monument is located in the Victory Park next to the famous Museum of the Patriotic War, which is annually visited by numerous tourists and guests of the capital.
The memorial includes diverse and heterosexual figures of people who have gone through all the hellish tortures of fascist soldiers and concentration camps. All this is done so that our people will never forget how hard we got this victory, how people died and suffered, how we fought together for a bright future and freedom.
You can get to this attraction by public transport, using the Moscow metro station "Victory Park". From the metro you need to go along Kutuzovsky Avenue, and you will reach Poklonnaya Mountain.
