SK "Luzhniki" Ice Palace

"Luzhniki" is a huge complex of sports facilities, built in the fifties of the last century.

By 2021, it is planned to complete the construction of several more sports complex facilities. One of them will be the Ice Palace "Crystal" made of glass and metal. It is built near a small sports arena. The foundation for the "Crystal" is laid on the place where the old rink was located. The monolithic work has already been completed. The facade of the building is half finished. Currently, work is underway on ventilation, water supply and draft finishing of the building. The palace will be three-storey, one floor 20 meters high will be underground. On the underground floor, there is parking for 130 cars.

Under the "Crystal" an area of 24 thousand square meters is involved. You can not only skate, but also sit in a cafe, and swim in the pool with access to the summer terrace. Bath and spa complexes are provided.

The opening of the ice palace is scheduled for the end of 2020.

The nearest to the sports complex will be from the metro station "Sportivnaya", only 800 m east of the Palace of Sports. Or you can get to the metro station "Sparrow Mountains", but you will have to go a little further - 1400 m to the southeast. There is no public transport from the Sportivnaya metro station to the Sports Palace. Only on holidays bus routes are organized.
