Alyabieva Street

alyabyev Street, Filevsky Park District, Western District, Moscow

Description:

Very little data has been preserved about Alyabiev Street in history. One thing is known that before it was called Filevsky Lane. It was renamed Alyabieva already in the XX century. Again, historians still debate when exactly this happened. Some are inclined to the date of 1926, others insist on the later date of 1962. The fact remains the name itself. It was given in honor of the famous musician and composer A.A. Alyabyev, although he has nothing to do with this place.

Today, the street is a territory densely built up with high-rise buildings. The houses are so close to each other that the apple has nowhere to fall, let alone park a car. It's a good neighborhood. Not far from the houses there are two metro stations Bagrationovskaya and Filevsky Park. There is also a lot of ground public transport. So to get to the center of the locals have no problems.
