Lublino Manor
Description:
Each Moscow estate, which has historical and architectural value, reflects the personality of its former owner. Although Lublino, as an estate, is mentioned in the revision papers of the XVI century, in its current form the estate was built in 1800.
It was at this time that the estate was bought by retired military brigadier N. A. Durasov. He was known in the capital for his great bread-making, and generally loved to live beautifully and on a broad footing. This breadth is felt in the architectural appearance of the local buildings.
The Lord’s House resembles a palace, representing a combination of a cross and a circle. This form was chosen with significance - such outlines distinguish the Order of St. Anna, to which Durasov was awarded and was very proud of it.
The building was majestic and inside: there were Pink, Round and Marble halls. In Pink held the famous all over Moscow musical evenings.
Next to the master’s house were erected theatrical buildings, as they were called. They were also frequented: the Durasov Fortress Theatre was one of the most professional in the capital.
Now there is a museum here. It is located at the address: summer street, 1 building. You can get here by metro to the station "Volga".
