Description:

The estate of Valuevo is located in the same village of the Moscow region. In the XVII century, the estate was founded by deacon Grigory Valuev, by whose name the estate was named. The estate complex began to take shape, starting from 1759, when it was owned by D.A. Shepelev. Finally, the ensemble of the estate was formed at the turn of the XVIII-XIX centuries, under Count A.I. Musin-Pushkin. In 1810-11, a new lord's house was built on the site of the old one, cattle and horse yards, other outbuildings, a park with cascading ponds appeared.

Under the following owners, the estate complex was supplemented by a water tower, some outbuildings, rebuilt front gates with two towers, crowned with small sculptures of deer. To this day, except for the church building, all the buildings of the extensive manor ensemble have been preserved: a two-storey gentlemen's house with two outbuildings, galleries-colonnades connected with it, an office, a manager's house, a pavilion called the Hunting House, a greenhouse building in which the operating church, services, cattle and horse yards, a grotto with three arches, a water tower and other buildings are located. A vast pine-lime park with cascading ponds also survived. Since the 1960s, the sanatorium "Valuevo" has been located in the estate, the estate buildings are adapted to various sanatorium needs.
