Photo Gallery of the Lumiere Brothers

Founded in 2001 by Natalia Grigorieva-Litvinskaya, the Lumière Gallery is one of the oldest Moscow galleries specializing in the art of photography. The gallery represents recognized Soviet and foreign photographers and works with contemporary authors. During its existence, the gallery managed to collect a collection of Soviet photography, which covers the period from the 1920s to the 1990s and includes 13,300 author’s prints. Lumiere Gallery works with collectible Western and Soviet photography, is engaged in exhibition and publishing activities, educational projects in the field of photography and contemporary art.
