About the company:

In 1998, the museum was established as a public museum. The crowds that have passed through it over the past year have shown how interesting and modern it is. In 1999 it acquired state status. It fully preserves the living environment and a unique collection of bells collected by B. Okudzhava.

The museum is divided into two parts: the memorial part is dedicated to the life and work of B. Okudzhava. The other is a "Museum for Friends", dedicated to the entourage of B. Okudzhava and his era - an attempt to create a museum of writers-sixties, friends of Bulat Shalvovich. The museum hosts club meetings with poets, writers of different generations, people of art: young modern writers, in particular poets with guitars.
