About the company:
The State Museum of A.S. Pushkin in Moscow was created in the homeland of Alexander Sergeyevich in 1957. Famous Pushkin scientists and the general public took part in the creation of the museum in the middle of the last century. The museum collections present more than 200 thousand monuments, including an invaluable gift - a unique library of Russian poetry collected by I.N. Rozanov. From the first days of work, the museum began to receive numerous gifts associated with the name of Pushkin: portraits, books, manuscripts, engravings, porcelain, furniture. In 1997, in the year of the 850th anniversary of Moscow, on the eve of the bicentenary of the poet’s birth, the museum was reborn. As a result of reconstruction and restoration, the museum turned into a multifunctional museum and cultural center for scientific, exposition, exhibition, concert, educational, restoration and storage work.
