State Museum-Estate "Arkhangelsk"

The museum is located in an architectural monument of XVIII - XIX centuries. A unique part of the fund are: the collection of Western European painting of the XVII - XIX centuries (France, Italy, Holland), the collection of Russian art is relatively small and consists mainly of works by serfs; a small but very interesting collection of drawings; a collection of furniture of the XVIII - XIX centuries; objects of decorative and applied art; a large book collection (almost all the branches of knowledge that existed then (18 sections), the basis of the collection is French literature).
