About the company:

Ostafyevo is a unique monument of Russian manor culture of the XIX century, one of the centers of cultural life of Russia. During the life of the owner of Ostafyev, the poet Prince P. A. Vyazemsky, Pushkin, Zhukovsky, Boratynsky, Mickiewicz, Griboyedov, Gogol were in the estate. In Ostafiev, N.M. Karamzin worked on the “History of the Russian State”. Until now, only the main buildings of the estate have survived. The main house was built in 1806 in the style of classicism, presumably according to the project of the architect of the school M. Kazakov. The old lime alley "Russian Parnassus" has been preserved. In 1911-1913, the last owner of Ostafiev S.D. Sheremetev installed monuments to Karamzin, Pushkin, Zhukovsky, Vyazemsky in the estate park.
