Lenin-Snegirev Military Historical Museum

The 41st kilometer of Volokolamsk Highway is the line of defense near Moscow. The complex of the museum includes two open-air exhibition areas: a tank platform (techniques of the Second World War), a military memorial cemetery with the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union A.P.Beloborodov.

The museum is dedicated to 16 armies under the command of K.K. Rokossovsky. The museum exhibits documents and materials of the Great Patriotic War. Over the years, the museum has accumulated significant documentary and material material on the combat history of the region and the country.

The collections of the museum also contain unique trophy exhibits: military equipment, personal belongings found at the battlefields (from German tanks to a compass and a spoon). There is a library in the museum.
