About the company:
The Cold War Museum (exposition Bunker-42) is a former secret military facility - the Reserve Command Post of Long-Range Aviation (GO-42), located underground at a depth of more than 60 meters, near the Taganskaya metro station.
After declassification, Bunker-42 was sold by Rosimushchestvo to the private company Novik-Service. Since 2006, the object has been restored and now there is a museum with an area of more than 7000 square meters.
The underground bunker itself, with all its communications, became the main element of the museum exposition. Visitors are given the opportunity to see a copy of the command post, cinema, dining room, entertainment area, look at the engineering systems of the bunker.
The exposition hall will acquaint you with Soviet propaganda posters, radio stations half a century ago of Soviet production, personal protective equipment. Each visitor receives a bright red Soviet Defense Ministry pass with their own name and a photo of the unknown in a gas mask.
