About the company:

Moscow State United Art Historical-Architectural and Natural-Landscape Museum-Reserve was established in 2005 on the basis of the State Museum-Reserve Kolomenskoye, one of the most famous Moscow museums. Today, the museum-reserve includes four historical territories: the ancient village of Kolomenskoye near Moscow with the buildings of the Sovereign Dvor, the museum of wooden architecture, ancient gardens and parks (XIV-XIX centuries); monuments on the territory of the Izmailovo estate (XVII-XIX centuries); the Lefortovo palace and park ensemble (XVIII century); the natural and historical and cultural complex of the Durasov estate in Lublin (early XIX century). Kolomenskoye - the residence of the Grand Dukes of Moscow and Russian tsars is known since the XIV century. Its unique architectural ensemble is of great artistic and historical value. It is here that the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, built in 1532, is located. For many centuries, it is a unique example of Russian architecture, which had a profound influence on the development of architecture in Eastern Europe. This is one of the first tent stone temples in Russia. In all these years, it has not undergone significant reconstructions, which was one of the reasons for the monument’s inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994, along with the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square. In the immediate vicinity of the Ascension Church there are three more architectural monuments: St. George's Bell Tower (XVI century), Vodovzvodny Tower (XVII century) and Pavilion of 1825 by architect E. D. Tyurin. In Dyakovo there is a wonderful architectural monument of the XVI century - the Church of the Beheading of the Head of John the Forerunner. Built in the middle of the century, it is the prototype of the Cathedral of St. Basil (Pokrovsky) on the Red Square and was built, probably, by the same architects. May 15, 2008 in Kolomenskoye opened the Museum of wooden architecture, organized on the basis of authentic monuments. The collection of the museum includes: the passage tower of the Nikolo-Karelian Monastery from the coast of the White Sea, the tower of the Bratsk prison, as well as the Moss Tower of the Sumy Fortress built to the second half of the XVII century. In Kolomenskoye there are unique archaeological monuments, in particular Dyakovo settlement, which gave the name to the archaeological Dyakov culture. The territory of the Kolomenskoye Museum is a valuable national landscape that has preserved ancient natural relief with unique flora. A significant part of the territory is occupied by extensive parks, picturesque ravines, high hills, the water surface of the Moscow River. This is a unique reserve with monuments of history, architecture, archaeology and nature, located almost in the center of Moscow. Izmailovo - the famous country residence of Russian tsars, since 1654 - part of the palace economy. Then the owner of the boyar patrimony of Izmailovo with its vast lands became Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov. It was here in May 1688. At the Izmailovo linen yard, sixteen-year-old Peter found an old English boot and ordered to call Izmailovo "the cradle of the Russian fleet". In Izmailovo there are architectural monuments of the end of the XVII century, relating to the ensemble of the Sovereign court, as well as the construction of the Nikolaev military almshouse, created in the XIX century for veterans of the Patriotic War of 1812 Lefortovo - the main imperial residence of Moscow of the XVIII century, which served as a prototype of suburban residences of St. Petersburg. The heyday of Lefortovo came at the end of the XVII century; under the young Tsar Peter, unique palace and park ensembles were formed, which have survived to this day. Visiting Lefortovo, you can learn about the companion of Peter I F. Leforte, take a walk through the Golovinsky Garden, visit the gazebo of Peter, see the Grotto built by the great Rastrelli. Lublino is a monument of palace and park art of the XVIII-XIX centuries The lands on which the estate is located are first mentioned in sources at the end of the XVI century. In the 80s of the XVII century, they were owned by the famous family of Godunovs, and in the early XIX century. the estate was bought by a rich Moscow landowner N.A.Durasov (1760-1818) - the most famous of its owners. Under him, Lublino became a favorite place for recreation and entertainment of the Moscow nobility. Festivals and receptions were held here, theater performances and concerts were given. Durasov Palace is one of the few surviving Moscow monuments of the era of mature classicism. The life and life of the Russian estate, culture and traditions of the Russian nobility reveal to visitors the interiors and exhibitions of the palace of N. A. Durasov, located on the territory of Lublino.
