Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering

The Moscow State University of Nature Management (formerly the Moscow Hydromeliorative Institute) was founded in 1930. The Institute trained specialists for agricultural industries in the field of land reclamation and water construction.

The University Museum began its work in 1987. Here are collected materials covering the formation and stages of development of the university. The theme of the museum is primarily reflected on the stands and in the exposition of scientists and teachers who stood at the origins of the creation of our educational institution and the Russian school of reclamation and hydraulic engineers. The stands and albums present the materials of the university development in different periods of the country’s life, the history of the departments, pedagogical and scientific activities, international cooperation, etc. The museum has a memorial office of academician Kostyakov A.N., the founder of reclamation science in Russia.
