Museum of Development History "Mosenergo"

The museum is located in the old district of Moscow - Zamoskvorechye, in the former merchant mansion acquired by the joint-stock "Society of Electric Lighting of 1886", where the famous Russian power engineers R.E. Classon, A.V. Winter, I.I. Radchenko, G.M. Krzhizhanovsky and others worked in the early XX century. In 1920, the GOELRO plan was developed. The museum exposition tells about the appearance of the first power plants in Moscow, about the heating of the capital in the 30s, about the development of Mosenergo in the present and future. The museum contains unique documents, photographs, large-scale models.
