The museum complex of Gubkin University is represented by expositions of the museum and exposition sites:

The creation of the Museum Complex of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin was the result of a purposeful process of preserving and promoting the scientific and cultural heritage of both the university itself and the entire oil and gas industry of the country. Possessing authentic materials reflecting the history of the formation and development of the university and the oil and gas industry, the Gubkin Museum Complex of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas is an important tool for introducing new generations of students to the spiritual and moral values of the past.
