Museum of Horse Breeding of K.A.Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy

The thematic art collection stored here has no equal in the world. Art funds include more than 3,500 paintings, works of graphics, sculpture and applied arts, a video library, more than 55,000 negatives, an extensive thematic collection of postage stamps, postcards and envelopes, icons, various souvenirs. The library of the museum contains over 12,000 books and magazines on horse breeding, from unique folios of the XVI - XVII centuries to modern Russian and foreign publications. The main part of the collection consists of the works of those artists for whom the horse was not an accidental, but a permanent object of the image.
